When we were building our new house; we felt that this was a massive deal for us and felt that it would be worth engaging the services of an interior designer. We spoke to a number of interior designers in the Louth / Meath and Dublin area. We shortlisted our selection down to four designers; We individually meet all four designers on site; To hear their views and suggestions on what they could bring to our new home. We decided to appointed Declan J Kirwan as our interior designer; as it was felt that he was able to give us so much advice even at this early stage of our build; on how we could make the better use of space and introduction of natural light. Declan began by produced design concept drawings, mood board and samples of materials for our total interior/exterior and landscaping design. His advice and suggestions were invaluable in our choice of where to find materials, fixtures, fittings, color, landscaping design throughout the build. Declan liaised with all trade persons working on site. We look back now and have to say that meeting Declan was a well worth while experience in our build, and would no problem recommending him to anybody.

I contacted Declan J Kirwan to discuss making alterations to an existing unused ground floor sitting room in my house on Concession Rd, Co. Louth and converting it to a master bedroom, en suite. When I meet Declan to show him the job; he was very helpful with his suggestions and gave me some great advice on how to make better use of space and work to a tight budget. He prepared a design and mood board this included all materials and finishes to be used throughout; and this was extremely helpful and showed me exactly what my new master bedroom, en suite would look like.

When this job was complete I was so delighted with the result that I also decided to ask Declan to look at the main Bathroom on the first floor to see what could be done. Declan sourced and selected a completely new bathroom suite; and partially tiled the walls, that worked within my budget and once again he delivered a beautiful modern fresh concept. I am truly delighted with the professionalism and service that Declan provided in my home. I would definitely recommend him to anybody thinking of getting work done to their home.
